Project Details
The main objective of this assignment is to provide consultancy services for the preparation of the detailed design and construction supervision of the Maputo wastewater drainage system. The design phase will involve three components: (i) design of the Polana (EE1) and UEM (EE2) pumping stations and rising mains; (ii) design of the main trunk sewers (E-MP1); and (iii) design the upgrades and expansion of priority secondary and tertiary network and sewer connections. EE1 was designed for a 111.1 l/s capacity and EE2 for a smaller one, 50 l/s. The value of the total equivalent population served by the E-MP1 was estimated for the year 2040 (420,784 equivalent inhabitants).
